2025 Camp Info

AYSO United AZ Summer Camp is moving indoors!!!

We thank everyone who signed up for the 2024 AYSO Summer Camp, which was held at the Arizona Athletic Grounds in East Mesa. We had more than 110 campers signed up, far exceeded our personal goal of 90. This year our goal is to get to 125 campers.

This year we plan to host three days of camp in the futsal courts at AAG. That’s right. We will be going for three nights, all indoors, for all field players. We will be going outside for keeper training, but only after the sun goes down and it cools off a bit. We are still working on the curriculum and then we will post it on this site.

At the camp, all participants will be divided by age groups and assigned two coaches. Each night will focus on one or two skill sets to help get your camper ready for the 2025 season. Each night will finish with small-sided matches. The final night will include a mini tournament for players to test the skills they learned the first two nights.

Special Goalkeeping Session:

Coach Papakostas, from the Olympic Goalkeeper Academy, started off the camp with an “Introduction to Goalkeeping session, which unfortunately was canceled due to thunderstorms. We received a lot of positive feedback about his class and this year we have invited him back.

We would like to see this program grow and would love to find a sponsor to help offset the costs and keep our camp affordable to all of the families who participated.
