Coach of the Year
Every year AYSO United likes to recognize coaches who have made a positive impact on a young person’s life, more so than how many wins or losses they have created.
All nominations for Coach of the Year come from our parents or players who like to share the impact a coach has made on their lives. We believe leading the team starts with Leading the Player.
Every year a Coach is identified who exemplifies the best in what we have to offer. That coach is then nominated for the National Coach of the Year for AYSO United. In our inaugural year, Coach Mike Hollar was named, not only as the State Coach of the Year, but the National Coach of the Year as well.

Player of the Year
In keeping with our theme that we want to recognize outstanding players who play for our club, our Player of the Year program is designed to recognize outstanding young men and women who do fantastic things on and off the pitch.
There are plenty of programs that recognize top athletes, but our program is specifically targeting outstanding citizens, volunteers and students.
In 2021, Xavier Rawls was name as the Male National Player of the Year for his outstanding contributions both on and off the pitch.

ID 64 National Camp
The ID64 program is designed to identify the top male and female athletes in our club. We are looking to identify the promising young stars of tomorrow.
Coaches nominate athletes who they believe stand out as great technical and tactical players. They are then assessed by the club staff and the top four players get invited to attend a national training camp alongside some of the best players in AYSO United from across the country.
In 2022, Hannah Petrucci was named as the top camper and was invited to participate in a national competition in Florida this past December.

Summer Camp
Always looking for ways to improve our players technical ability, the AYSO United Arizona Camp is a great, low cost option for kids to get some extra work just before the beginning of the new season.
Players are broken into appropriate age groups where they will get an opportunity to develop skills and play lots of soccer.
This event is held at Bell Bank Park at night and space is limited.
